Albert "AJ" Armelin , 86, died on November 15, 2012. He was born to the late Oscar & Ella Esclovon Armelin on December 29, 1925. He was the 3rd of 13 children, he accepted Christ at an early age. He was married for 64 years to Mary Semien Armelin to this union seven children were born.

Albert was a jack of all trades; if it could be done he knew how to do it.

He is survived by his loving wife; Mary Armelin; three daughters; Barbara Armelin, Annette Armelin, Alicia Armelin (Terrell) Joseph; three sons; Albert Armelin Jr, Paul Armelin, Martin Armelin; seven siblings; Roger Armelin, Robert (Margaret) Armelin, Lannie Molo, Edna Jones, Minnie Gobert, Betty (Charles) Hull, Connie (Larry) Benton; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Oscar and Ella Armelin; one daughter; Gwendolyn Armelin, four sisters; Ella Montgomery, Patricia Jackson, Evelyn Hartman, Bernadine Rodgers and one brother; Oscar Armelin, Jr.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at King's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church. Rev. Bryant D. Thompson will officiate. Final resting place will be Perkins Cemetery in Westlake, LA under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
