Albert married the love of his life, Martha Lee Fontenot, and they were faithfully married to each other on June 3, 1961, and the union lasted for 62 years. To this union, five children were born.
Albert worked in the offshore field over 30 years with Zapata Offshore and Diamond Offshore. Albert was always a man to stay busy and worked in construction after his retirement and always stayed busy working on something.
Albert was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and was a part of the local fellowship in Lake Charles, LA.
Albert leaves a legacy of love and memories with his wife, Martha Fontenot Celestine of 62 years; four sons, David Celestine and wife Alysia of Houston, TX; Richard Celestine and wife Michelle, Donald Celestine and wife Tasha, and Ronald Celestine and wife Dawn. In addition to his children, Albert had 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Lurden Celestine; his brother Curly Celestine; and one son, Ricky Celestine.
Albert was greatly loved; a man of few words but well respected, and he will be dearly missed. Our dad was the most caring father anyone could have, set the example for hard work, loving your wife, taking care of your immediate and extended family, and raised five sons to have a reverence for God.
A memorial service is currently pending, and family and friends will be notified when the plans have been finalized. Thank all of you for your prayers and support during this difficult time.
