Albert Hayes , 63, departed this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. He was born on May 12, 1955, to the late Michael Hayes, Sr., and LouBertha Mingo Hayes in Cottonport, LA. He worked in the Construction Industry as an iron worker for over 40 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, LouBertha Rideaux of Lake Charles, LA; his children, Desah Dobbins of Lafayette, LA, Jamerica Howard of Spring, TX, Jessica and Demitri Hayes of Oakland, CA and Lakeyla Robinson of Lake Charles, LA; his siblings, Joyce Hayes of Port Arthur, TX,, Randy Williams of Lake Charles, LA, Michelle (James) Smith of Augusta, GA, Clark (Shawn) Hayes of Lake Charles, LA, Patricia (Kenneth) Lavergne of Lake Charles, LA, Brady (Dana) Mingo of San Diego, CA, Rakisha Rideaux of Lake Charles, LA, James (Marva) Brown of Port Arthur, TX, Gary Hayes of Atlanta, GA, Fitzgerald Hayes of Port Arthur, TX, Douglas (Nichole) Hayes of Friendswood, TX, Mitchell (Lily) Hayes of Dallas, TX and Michael (Rochel) Hayes, Jr., Port Arthur, TX; his stepmon, Elise Hayes of Port Arthur, TX; eight grandchildren, Ravon Augustine, Tiffany Augustine, Teashon Dobbins, Alysia Howard, Kandance Chavis, Justin Carrier, Mikkel Carlton and Braden Hayes; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Hayes, Sr.; one son, Albert Hayes, Jr., and one brother, Dannie Hayes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Robert L. Owens, officiating.
