Alberta Virginia Griffith-Delahoussaye, passed away peacefully from this life the morning of November 7th in her home after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Alberta is preceded in death by her parents; Clifford and Ophelia Griffith, her husband; Kenwood Delahoussaye, her son; Ray Delahoussaye, two brothers; Clifford Jr. and Gilbert Griffith, and one sister; Ruby Jolivette. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, five sons; Patrick Joseph, James Gilbert, Kenwood Joseph Jr., Michael, and Jason Paul Delahoussaye all of Lake Charles, LA., nine grandchildren; Joyia L. Delahoussaye-Broussard, Jeremy P. Delahoussaye, Justin R. Heath, Samantha S. Delahoussaye, Kalyn B. Delahoussaye, Nicholas and Cameron Delahoussaye, Donte' Noah, and Elijah M. Delahoussaye, three great grandchildren; Ariel M. Broussard, Hudson K. Delahoussaye, and Jay Anthony Heath, five sisters; Laura Rivera, Lou Anna August, Rita Guidry, Sylvania Fontenot, and Wanda Darbonne, two brothers; Herbert and Donald Griffith, and a host of nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
