Alice Marie Cofield , 66, departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. She was born August 5, 1952, to Roy Cofield, Sr., and Betty Lee Office Cofield in Natchitoches, LA. She worked in healthcare as a certified nurses assistant.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Roy (Qyechiak) Cofield, Sr.; two grandsons, Demarcus Cofield and Roy Cofield, Jr.; one granddaughter, Shontazia Cofield; one godchild, Christina Cofield-Charles, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Betty Cofield; her siblings, Roy Cofield, Jr., Clinton Walker, Delores Cofield, Florence Cofield Glasgo and Brenda Johnson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 12:00 noon at King's Funeral Home.
