Andrew "Drew" Avergonzado, Jr., died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the age of 40, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.

He was born on December 15, 1976, in Hayward, California to the late Andrew Avergonzado Sr. and Mildred Helen Hebert. He graduated from Barbe High School in 1996. Andrew loved playing video games, fishing, bowling, and baseball.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his stepfather, Larry (Melba) Hayes, Jr., two sons, Andrew Avergonzado, III and Z'micah Avergonzado; his grandmother, Ritha Hebert and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Avergonzado, Sr., and Mildred Hebert.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Father's House, 2955 Legion Street, Lake Charles, LA. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at The Father's House, Pastor Michael Honore, officiating with a second visitation at 9:00 a.m., at the church. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine, LA, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
