On March 26, 2020, the Master saw fit to call home his loving son, Andrew Thomas. Andrew was born February 8, 1956, to Charlie and Zula Mae Bryant in Kinder, LA. He attended Grand Avenue High and DeQuincy High. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1975. He had a strong faith in Christ and attended Pasadena Missionary Baptist Church. He was passionate for his church and enjoyed his church family.
The word of God speaks that in God's house there are many mansions…but here on earth, the bricks of Andrew's earthly mansion is made up of his family. Daughters, Yolanda Darby and Andrea Darbey (Mickey Boo), both of Houston, TX. Also left to carry on his memory, his father, Charlie Bryant of DeQuincy, LA; brothers, Bobby Blount and Wilford Bryant of Lake Charles, LA, Clarence Guillory and Whitman Guillory of Mississippi; sisters, Diana Thomas, Wanda Bryant and Denise Bryant all of Lake Charles, LA, Willie Mae Guillory and Rose Marrie Guillory Miller of Mississippi and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Faye Thomas; mother, Zula Mae Bryant, one brother, Kenneth James Bryant, his mother-in0-law, Lue Mae Leday Darby, one sister, JoAnnie Guilloory Artis and one nephew, PFC Bryant Thomas.
A public, walk-up window viewing has been scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., and family visitation at 12:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
