Minister Angela Davis-Hayes was born on November 12, 1968. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized by Rev. M.L. Thomas in 1972. She united with True Light Baptist Church when it was organized in May 1985 under the leadership of Rev. Robert Owens followed by Rev. Alvin J. Noel. She served as an Usher and Director of the Youth Choir until she moved to Spring, Texas.

Minister Angela Davis-Hayes united in holy matrimony with Ronald Hayes on June 25, 2000. She worked at Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Home Health 2000, and Lake Charles Care Center.

Minister Angela Davis-Hayes continued to serve with the choir and Praise Team upon moving to Spring, Texas. She was called into the ministry and preached her first sermon at St. Paul CME on November 12, 2006. While in Texas she worked at Dialysis Centers in Houston and Conroe, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Julian and Carrie Davis and Godmother Reva Norton.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Ronald Hayes of Spring, Texas; mother Mary Davis Williams of Lake Charles; two daughters, Antoinette Davis (Keith) St. Romain of Lake Charles, and Jasmine Davis (fiancee William Davis) of Woodland, Texas; one son, Julian Davis of Lake Charles; one sister Julia (Michael) Ware of Houston, Texas; two brothers Milton Davis of Lake Charles and Thomas Davis of Petersburg, Virginia; two step-daughters, Rena and Tracey; two step-sons Aaron and Desmond; one great aunt, Maggie Lee Mayes of Spring, Texas; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
