Anita Jo Lyles , 67, departed this life on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born November 30,  1955, to Charlie Jackson and Annie Ruth Jackson in Dayton, OH.  She worked as a nurse over 20 years.  She loved singing, laboring for God and going to church.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 49 years, Michael James Lyles of Lake Charles, LA; her mother-in-law, Willa Mae Lyles of Cincinnati, OH; her children, Utee' Lyles-Duncan (Wiltz) of Fort Worth, TX, Manzell Lyles of Brooklyn, NY and Jeshaiah Lyles of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Ezzard Charles Jackson (Roena) of Little Rock, AR, Patricia Miller of Springfield, OH, Tarawoner Lyles-Kelly (Roosevelt) of Cincinnati, OH, her aunt, Sharon Kelly (Raymond) of Cincinnati, OH and Lillian Curry of Virginia; a great aunt, Claudine Woodruff of Greer, SC; five grandchildren, Darius Lyles, Xavier Lyles Duncan, Kennidy Duncan, Wiltz Duncan and Khole Duncan; two great grandchildren, Dreden Goodwin and Zaiden Goodwin; close family friend, Ola Leday; adoptive daughter, Victoria Bailey and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Jackson and Annie Ruth Jackson; one brother, Donald Jackson and one daughter, Roshayla Lyles.
