Anna Belle Dugas Conley
was born July 13, 1943 in Bell City, LA to the late Isaac Dugas and Jessie Mae Davis Dugas. She graduated from Bethune High School in Welsh, LA. in 1962. She attended Texas Southern University and McNeese State University. She worked as a postmaster relief clerk for the United States Postal
Service in Bell City, Hayes, and Iowa for over twenty years.
She was called from her earthly home March 7, 2012 at 3:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA., surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Conley, and her parents; Isaac and Jessie Mae Davis Dugas.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving son; Harold (Stephanie) Conley of Lacassine, LA., two brothers; Ivory "Ike" (Patricia) Dugas of Houma, LA., and Artis (Dalila) Dugas of Baytown, TX., two sisters; Irene and Brenda Dugas both of Lacassine, LA., two grandsons; Desmond Conley of Lake Charles, LA., and Bryce Conley of Lacassine, LA., one great-grandson; Ashton Conley of Lake Charles, LA., three aunts; Adeline Savoy of Lacassine, LA., Geneva (Clarence) Prudhomme of Welsh, LA., and Mabel Coleman Davis of Lake Charles, LA., a nephew; Isaac Dugas of Baytown, TX., a niece; Kaitlin Dugas of Baytown, TX., two Godchildren; Antonetta (Phillip) Williams of Lafayette, LA., and Katrina Davis of Lake Charles, LA., and a host of relatives and friends.
