Anna Bell Critian (Aunt Do), was born in Washington, La. On Aug. 15, 1928. She was received into the loving hands of the Lord in the comfort of her home with family on Jan. 26, 2019.

She was a resident of Port Arthur for 68 years. Her job was most important in that she was a superlative wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a nurturer to all those she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Julia King; her loving husband Willie Critain Sr., four brothers Dalton, Raymond, Richard and Willie King, half sister Lela Mae Valentine, and daughter-in-law Stella Critain.

Left to cherish her memories are three children, Rose Sweet, Willie Critain Jr. and Deborah Critain all of Port Arthur, Tx. Six sisters Verna Antoine of Pt. Arthur Tx., Ruby Robinson (CW) of Houston Tx., Joyce Thomas of Lake Charles La., Mary Alexander (George) of Orange Tx., Florita Wolf (Elray) of Beaumont Tx., Patsy Self (Leon) of Baton Rouge La. Three Sister-in- Laws, Viola Jones of Beaumont, Willa Mae Dugas, Gladys Chretien. Three grandchildren Brian Pruitt of Port Arthur, Tx, Julian Pitre of Houston, Tx, and Derrick Critain (Ericka) of Beaumont, Tx. Step- grandchildren Kathy Brown (Juan) of Orlando, Fl., Ronald Henderson (Marty) of San Antonio,Tx., and 14 great grandchildren Devon, Tye, Ashley, Payton, Noah, Brandon, Ocean, Dominique, Joy, Janae, Alexis, Ronald III, Isaiah and Isaac. Long time friend Olivia Ghee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
