Arthur Ray Williams , 70, departed this life on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born July 6, 1952, to Arthur Williams and Flora Lee Williams in Alexandria, LA.  He was baptized at the age of six at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  He graduated from Sulphur High School, attended Grambling State University and received an associates degree from Lamar University.  He was a self-employed, licensed electrician and loved watching football, basketball and visiting with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories the mother of his children, Renee Williams of Lake Charles, LA; his children, Dezric Williams (Julia) of Baton Rouge, LA, Alexis Williams and Jared Ledet both of Lake Charles, LA; siblings, Margie Clayton of Beaumont, TX (Dr. Hurley Clayton); nephew, Charles Williams; six grandchildren, Karson, Jessie, Jessalynn, Jared, Jr., Jazavior and Ja'rye and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Williams and Flora Lee Williams and one brother, Alvin Williams.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
