Barbara "Bobby" Jefferson

On Thursday, the 6th day of June, 2024, Barbara June Jefferson departed this life at the age of 75, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on April 19, 1949, to Junius Jefferson, Jr., and Mary Avery Jefferson.

Her hobbies included spending time with family, being a foster grandparent of a school, and worshiping the Lord.

She leaves to mourn her son, James (Lisa) Guidry of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Betty Larce of Lake Charles, LA, Margaret Jefferson of Baton Rouge, LA, Patricia Faye Perry of Lake Charles, LA, Sheryln Jefferson of Lake Charles, LA; four grandchildren, Troy Nelson of Lake Charles, LA, Ty Nelson of Dallas, TX, Teddrick Nelson of Las Vegas, Neveda, and Taylor Nelson of Grambling, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Junius Jefferson, Jr., and  Mary Avery Jefferson; siblings, Lava Oliver, Mary Lewis, Junius Jefferson III, and Lillie Shaffer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
