Barbara Ann Soileau Richard , 57, departed this life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born August  11, 1965, to Dupuson Soileau and Annette Brown Soileau in Lake Charles, LA.   She worked as an associate at Walmart for 14 years.  She loved cooking, word puzzle and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Nolan John Richard, Sr.; three sons, Nolan Richard, Jr., Miya Richard and Nolton Richard all of Lake Charles, LA ; one daughter, Shontina Richard of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Jean Brown (Neil Armstead) of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dupuson and Annette Soileau.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
