On Saturday, December 14, 2013 Belle "Nana" Marie Banks departed this life at the age of 77 in a local hospital. She was born on May 27, 1936 to the late August and Ezora Durouso . She graduated from Lawtell High School and attended Beauty College for Cosmetology at Southern University. She brought much love to all those who knew her and great joy to her family and friends. She accepted the Lord and lived a prayfull life. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Albert Lee Banks. She leaves to mourn six daughters; Rebecca Banks; Cassandra Levings; Alfreda Banks; Shannon (David Lee) Moss; Crystal Banks; Samatha (Earl) Thierry; and one son; Christopher Banks all of Lake Charles, LA; three sisters; Bernice Daniel of Opelousas, LA; Virginia (Kenneth) Antione of Terrell, TX; Connie Durouso of Houston, TX; four brothers; Paul (Pam) Durouso; Joseph Durouso; John(JoAnn) Durouso; Bernis Durouso all of Lake Charles, LA; 31 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by his parents August and Ezora Durouso; two sisters; Jennie Pearl Cobb and Shirley Leday; one brother; Ogden Durouso ; one son Larry James Banks all of Lake Charles, LA.
