Benicia "Nisha" Montez Lewis Champagne, 50, of Sulphur, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her residence. Born November 7, 1975, to Geneva and Robert Lewis, Nisha was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed reading and watching nature documentaries in her spare time.

Left to cherish her precious memories are husband: Jeremy Champagne of Lake Charles; sons: Christian Lewis of New Orleans and Aiden (Skyler) Champagne of Sulphur, daughter: Hannah Champagne of Oberlin; grandchildren: Andrew Champagne, Barry Champagne, Niklaus Champagne and Serenity Champagne, parents: Wanel and Robert Lewis; siblings: Robert Randow, Sarah Lewis and Jonathan Lewis.

A private celebration of life will take place later this month.
