Bernadette "Mrs. Bernie" LaSalle Harold, 61, departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in New Orleans, LA.  She was born October 7, 1959, to Charles LaSalle, Sr., and Catherine Regina Jackson LaSalle in Creole, LA.  She worked at Kroger in the bakery department for 19 years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Roland E. Mouton.  She was a former secretary of the church and served as Deaconess and the women's choir.  She loved baking, cooking, sewing, crafting and gardening.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Charles (Cynthia ) LaSalle of Houston, TX, Anthony (Deemyra) Harold, III of Beaumont, TX, Terance Harold and Teresa Harold both of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Gloria LaSalle, Lisa LaSalle both of Lake Charles, LA and Andrea (Malcolm) Rivers of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Antonio, Jr., Titus and Teagan McArthur, Priscilla LaSalle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Catherine LaSalle; one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
