Bernice Foote, 76, died on December 28, 2012 in a local hospital. She was born on January 13, 1936 to the late Ernest and Mary Durosseau Evans in Kinder, LA. She was married to the late Gilbert Foote for over 55 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother; who had a heart of gold. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Jay Evans, a sister; Anna Jane Evans Stevens, two sons and a daughter-in-law; Kevin Jerard Foote, Glenn Matthews (Denise Jackson) Foote. She leaves to cherish her memories; one son; Roderick Foote, one sister; Mrs. Berlin Evans Guillory, one sister-in-law; Mrs. Willie Evans, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of relatives and friends.
