Betty Francis, 68, departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born April 5, 1956, to Clarence Bertrand, Sr., and Adeline Delafosse Francis in Lafayette, LA.  She was a homemaker who loved cooking, babysitting and enjoying life with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Robert Lee Francis, Jr., (Marie A. Francis) and Damon Charles Francis all of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Mary Ann Bertrand Malone, Albert Delafosse and Charles Delafosse all of Lake Charles, LA; a special friend, Sandy A. Hopkins; six grandchildren, Kacey, Kayla, Kentrail, Christine, Roxie, Robert, III and Jakayla; 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Bertrand, Sr., and Adeline Francis; and her husband, Robert Lee Francis, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
