Obituary John James Vital, 61, transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at his home surrounded by his wife and family. He was born in Welsh, La., on September 18, 1953, to the late Russell Vital and Roberta Vital. John later moved to Lake Charles and married Darlene Thomas Vital. He proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged September 14, 1978. He worked for the Framers Rice Milling Company for 28 years until his death. He was a member of the Refuge Temple Ministry for 27 years, later answering the call of Servanthood. John was ordained a minister on February 11, 1988. His favorable pastime was enjoying his grandson, Eric Jude Wyble, whom he called "poppa". John's legacy will forever be cherished by his devoted wife, Darlene Thomas Vital, who share in the love of his two children, Richard "Doc" Vital and Eva (Eric) Wyble, Sr., of Welsh, La.; the mothers of his children, Jeanette Vital and Jeanette Jones, of Welsh of La.; three sisters, Gwendolyn Walker of Jennings, La, Evette Vickers of Iowa, La., and Pam Vital of Panama City, FL; four brothers, Willie "T-Rat" Vital of Welsh, La., Dickie Vital of Lafayette, La., Arthur Vickers of Jennings, La., and Russell Vital, Sr., of Roanoke, La; four brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law, four uncles, four aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
