Calvin Clay Prejean, Sr., 65, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2019. He was born November 29, 1953, to the late Albert Prejean and Verda Pete Prejean in Lake Charles, LA.  He will also join his brother, Wilbert Prejean, Sr., nephew, Johnathan Levings and sister-in-law, Christine Prejean.

He lived all of his life in Lake Charles, LA. He served his country in the United States Air Force in 1974 and was honorably discharged in 1976. He was a Sergeant while serving his country.  Calvin was a very kind and loving person who loved people and loved to talk. He went to school as an architech mechanic and loved to work on cars, lawn mowers and most of all to ride his bike and meet people.  He also worked at Leonard's Food Quarters  and loved Mr. and Mrs. Leonard.

Survivors are one son, Calvin Clay Prejean, Jr., of Lake Charles; three brothers, Alvin Prejean of Lake Charles, Gilbert Prejean, Sr. and Gerard Prejean both of Austin, TX; four sisters, Patsy Levings Prejean of Lake Charles, Loresa Prejean of Long Beach, CA, Sandy Prejean of Atlanta, GA and Tammy Alicea Prejean of Arizona and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 8:00 a.m., and funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home, Pastor Gerard Prejean officiating. Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
