Calvin Randolph Royal, 74, departed this life on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born August 29, 1949, to Randolph Royal and Selena Short Royal in Lake Charles, LA.  He served his country in the United States Army with an honorable discharge.  He worked as an operator for PPG Industries until his retirement.  He enjoyed family, reading, old movies and mutual fund investments.

He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, James Royal (Jacqueline Royal) of Lake Charles, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Randoph and Selena Brown Royal; two sisters, Beverly Royal and Gladys Stewart and one brother, Henry Brown.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
