Carnell Glenn Stevenson , 51, departed this life on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. He was born January 14, 1969, to Brenda Stevenson and J. C. Johnson in Lake Charles, LA.  He worked at Southern Cycle and served in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Pat Michelle Stevenson; his father, J. C. Johnson; six children, Dasha Stevenson, Shanikka Stevenson, D'Andre Stevenson, Ebony Edwards, Ronesha Jackson and Craig Coleman all of Lake Charles, LA; his siblings, Trina Washington of Houston, TX, Harry Washington, Treva (Kenneth) Robert, Greg Johnson and Jeryl Johnson all of Lake Charles, LA; two grandchildren, Draya Smith and Marcus Stevenson; his Godmother, Tanna Hall and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Stevenson Washington; his stepdad, Harry Washington; his grandparents, George Frelow, Sr., and Maudrey Frelow; his great grandmother, Beatrice Manuel; one uncle, George Frelow, Jr., and two aunts, Pam Frelow and Stella Frelow.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home, Pastor Wilbert Lafleur, officiating. Burial will follow in Orange Grove Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
