On Labor Day, Monday, the 7th day of September, 2026, Carol Dean Bellow rested from her labor to receive her reward, as she peacefully departed this life at the age of 79, at Harbor Hospice Inpatient Care Center. She was born in September 1946 to Regina and Prudence Lezia Bellow in Church Point, Louisiana.

Carol spent her life caring for her family, ensuring her home was one of love, peace, and joy. She found pleasure in visiting family and friends, cooking, and she loved to shop. She was the definition of a Fashionista!

She was preceded in death by her parents Prudent and Regina Bellow; son Paul Edward Boutte; sisters, Teresa Thomas and Sarah Jane Dugas; and brothers Mervin Bellow and Alvin Bellow.  

Carol leaves to cherish her precious memories two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory (Teresa) Boutte and Shannon (Demetria) Boutte. She will forever be missed by her grandchildren, Donovan, Mykel, Adrienne, Madison, Natalee, and Nathan, and one special great grandchild, Aubrey. She also leaves a loving brother and sister-in-law, Irving (Marie) Bellow of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

A visitation of family and friends will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, starting at 11:00 am, at King's Funeral Home. There will be a Rosary at 11:30am. The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30pm at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
