Carolyn Kaough Fontenot , 68, departed this life on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Ochsners Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She was born on September 13, 1947, to the late Rev. Isaac Kaough, Jr. and Eldora Lee-Kaough in Lake Arthur, La.  She worked at PPG Industries, Bell South and Clerk of Court Elections.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her spouse, Tommy Fontenot; her children, Tareze (Donnell) Sandifer, Whitney Fontenot and Rashera Sinegal; her grandchildren, Donnell Sandifer, Jr., Cornelius Fontenot, Ka'Mireyah Fontenot, Tia Sandifer, Khi'Alynn Fontenot and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Isaac Kaough, Jr., and Eldora Lee-Kaough.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., at Mossville Truth Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
