Catherine Trail Rogers , 80, departed this life on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at her residence in Lake Charles, La. She was born on April 3, 1938 to John Trail and Annie Valarie Trail in Church Point, La.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 65 years, Louis Rogers; two sons, James Darrell Rogers and Leslie Leon Rogers; four, sisters Mary (Harry) Mitchell, Cecilia Dorothy Savoy, Mathilda (Leon) Chavis and Lucy (John) Chavis; and one, brother, Bernard Trail; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her caretaker, Yeshika Chevis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie Trail, four brothers, John Trail, Jr., Anthony Trail, Sr., Patrick Trail, Daniel Trail and David Trail.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
