Celia Lame Grant , 93, departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020, at a local nursing home in Lake Charles, LA. She was born May 7, 1927, to Walter Grant and Eva Lee Collins Grant in Opelousas, LA. She loved singing, cooking, sewing, painting and coloring.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Edward (Mary) Grant of Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Helen Carter and Deloris Johnson both of Lake Charles, LA; her neice, Welenora Denney; Godchildren, Maurice Andrus, Shaunda Jackson and Shanice Guidry and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eva Grant, one daughter, Patsy Ann Grant; four sisters, Celestine Handy, Hazel Williams, Lucille Drayton and Ella Mae Ware; two brothers, Wallace Grant and Arthur Grant.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home.
