Charles Celestine , 72, departed this life on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA. He was born on October 12, 1944, to Arceneaux Celestine and Bertha Lemelle Celestine in Iowa, LA. He worked at Farmer's Rice Mill until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Thelma Celestine; four daughters, Charlene Frank, Corpus Christi, TX, Chanell Celestine, Iowa, LA, Terry Henderson, Santa Anna, CA and Connie Celestine, Compton , CA; two sons, Raymond (Sethretta) Anthony Frank of Richmond, TX and Todd (Natasha) Dwayne Frank of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Georgia Simien and Agnes Simon of Lake Charles, LA, Stella Roberts of Houston, TX, and Mary (Joseph) Thomas of Franklin Park, NJ; two brothers, Raymond (Sharon) Celestine of Anaheim, CA, and George Celestine, Sr., of Iowa, LA and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arceneaux and Bertha Celestine; his siblings, Francis Marshall, Clifton, Wilson and Wilford Celestine.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 10:00:00 a.m., a rosary at 11:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:30 p.m., at King's Funeral Home, Bishop Allen Celestine, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Lacassine Catholic Cemetery in Lacassine, LA under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
