Charles Ray Jones, Jr., 49, departed this life on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Allen Parish Hospital in Kinder, LA. He was born on January 9, 1968, to the late Charles Ray Jones, Sr., and Lula Ceaser Jones in Lake Charles, LA.

He graduated from LaGrange Senior High School where he excelled in track. He worked at Ashley Furniture until he became disabled. He loved watching football and was an avid Carolina Panthers fan. He was a free-handed artist and won several awards for his work.  He also enjoyed playing video games.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Lula Jones of Lake Charles, LA; one daughter, Ka'Deisha Jones of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Ervin (Jennifer) Jones of Port Allen, LA; one sister, Charlotte Jones of Lake Charles, LA; two nieces, Desiree' and Danielle Jones of Port Allen, LA and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Trooper Charles Ray Jones, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 2;00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
