Cheryl Diane Hadnot , 63, departed this life on Friday, August 26, 2022, in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born July 19, 1959, to Isaac Hadnot and Irma Jean Lee Hadnot and was a native of Mossville, LA.  She lived in Lake Charles, LA  for the past 14 years.  She was a member of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr.  She was employed as a cook at Market Basket for 12 years until her illness.  She loved baking and always provided love and support for her family.  Her greatest love was her eight grandchildren along with her bonus grandchildren, who all called her "Grandmother".

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, George Hadnot (Kellee) of Sulphur, LA, Deon Pitre of Lake Charles, LA, and Brittany Meaux (Donovan) of Lacassine, LA; her father, Isaac Hadnot of Mossville, LA; her siblings, Darrell Hadnot and Eyphit Hadnot both of Mossville, LA, Cedric Hadnot (Lisa) of Sulphur, LA, Lisa Jolivette (Winnfield) of Lake Charles, LA, Cassandra Hadnot (Benjamin) of Houston, TX; her children's father, Patrick Toussaint; eight grandchildren, Brealle, Keiara, Brooklyn, Daylon, George, D'Niya, Kamryn and Braya and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irma Jean Lee Hadnot and one granddaughter, Miracle Arianna Hadnot.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Greater St. Mary Baptist Church, Pastor Nicholas Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in Morning Star Cemetery in Mossville, LA under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
