Christopher Joseph Romero, age 73, known to many as Chris, departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2026, in the comforts of his home. He was born to Minos Joseph Romero and Loula Mae Landry Romero on December 4, 1952, into a very loving home.

A life-long resident of Lake Charles, Chris earned his BS degree from McNeese State University in 1988 and was the founder and Realtor of his very own real estate firm for many years.

Chris leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, his siblings and five children, who all loved him very much.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services entrusted to King's Funeral Home.
