Christopher Trent, 32 of Jennings, La., was born on February 8, 1983, in Lake Charles, La., to Jeanette Trent. He departed this life on March 28, 2015, in Lafayette Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, La.

Christopher was a cheerful person, he loved life; he always had a smile on his face and a sense of humor. He was a kid at heart. He loved flashy clothes and exotic cars. He liked helping people and was always willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Katherine Trent of Jennings, La; two sons, Trevon Woods and Trenanded Trent of Jennings, La; three daughters, Christionne Trent and D'Mahree Miller of Jeanerette, La; Trinity Trent of Baton Rouge, La; his mother, Jeannette Trent, of Jennings, La; two Godsons, Jeremy Legros, Jr., and Quante Hardeman; one Goddaughter, Kylan Matthews and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church in Jennings, La., with Rev. Pernell Trent officiating. Burial will be in Peterson Cemetery in Jennings, La., under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
