Clara Bell Babineaux Citizen, 72, was born to Lernis and Alberta Simien Babineaux in Maxie, La., on Dec. 20, 1943.

On March 6, 1972, she married Albert Roy Citizen Sr. of Elton, La. To this union one child was born.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lernis Babineaux; her mother, Alberta Simien Babineaux; one sister, Harriet Theresa Babineaux-Citizen; three brothers, Louis, Ernest and Andre' "Pop" Babineaux.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Roy Citizen Sr. of Lake Charles, La; One son Phillip Juan (Janet) Babineaux of Lake Charles, La; One daughter, Kelly (Troylan) Stevens of Beaumont, Texas; Five grandchildren, Phillip (PJ) Babineaux II, Daylan Roy Duhon, Kobe Jaye Citizen, Troylan Stevens Jr. and Jakobe Stevens;  One sister, Helen Miles of Houston, Texas; One brother, Francis (Janice) Babineaux of Lake Charles, La. and a large host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home, Bro. Michael Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
