Clarence "Cowboy" Chapman Jr. was the eldest child born to the parents of the late Clarence Chapman Sr. and Vera Jean Chapman. He entered this world on March 16, 1957 in Lafayette, LA. He passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Cowboy is survived by his mother, Vera Jean Chapman; his daughters, Chasity Ramos, Angelique Fountain (Jeremy), Vera Elliott (Markillis), and LaToya Payne (Raymond); his two brothers, David Chapman and Fredrick "Freddy" Chapman (Monique); 15 grandchildren; niece, Ashley Freeman (Yana) and nephew Antonio "Tony" Chapman (Courtney), and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews and other relatives and friends.

Cowboy is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Chapman Sr.; one daughter, Shawana Gallien and her son; his grandson, Johnathan Ramos; one nephew, Dustin Chapman and grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
