Cleveland Fontenot Jr. was born in Houston, Texas on November 22, 1961, to Carrie Lee Gladney Fontenot and Cleveland Fontenot. Cleveland went peacefully to be with his Lord on March 11, 2022. He was preceded by his brothers Manual and Terry Wayne and by his parents.

To know Cleveland was to love him. He was a man with a big heart who brought joy and laughter with him wherever he went. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help his fellow man in whatever way he could.

Cleveland grew up in Houston and spent most of his life there. He was a hard worker who learned many trades that allowed him to work in many facets of the construction industry. He relocated to Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2014 where he continued to use his acquired skills working in remodel construction. Wearing his signature cowboy hat he was fondly referred to as "COWBOY."

Cleveland is survived by his son Brandon Moon, his brothers Ennis Fontenot (Yolanda) and Dennis Fontenot (Latarsha) and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Junior (as his family called him) will be truly missed. We will miss his laughter and that smile he brought when he entered a room. Laugh with the angels Junior.
