Connie Carrier was born to the late Leo and Rena Carrier on February 9, 1959. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Connie received Christ at an early age while attending St. Peter Claver Chapel in Iowa, Louisiana. Her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life and served as the foundation upon which she lived.

She was a proud graduate of Iowa High School in Iowa, Louisiana. She later pursued a career in healthcare and became a Certified Nursing Assistant, faithfully serving residents in a nursing home setting with compassion, dignity, and dedication.

Connie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her deep devotion to her grandchildren, and the love she so generously shared with her family, friends, and church community.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Louis (Denise) Carrier of Carenco, Louisiana, her daughters, LaDonya Carrier and Paige Carrier of Iowa, Louisiana; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Lionel (Belinda) Carrier of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and three sisters, Linda (Thomas-decd) of Iowa, Louisiana, Shelia Carrier of Virginia, and Renall Carrier-Lopez (J. Luis) of Illinois, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Rena Carrier; son, Jerrius Carrier; and brother-in-law, Thomas Miller.

Her presence will be deeply missed, however her legacy of love, strength, an kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, March 13, at 2:00pm in the King's Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services have been entrusted to King's Funeral Home following her funeral service.
