Connie Ruth Tutson , 62, departed this life on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at a local hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born November 25, 1959, to William Walker and Victoria Walker in Lake Charles, LA.  She worked at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for 40+ years.  She loved cooking and visiting with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 43 years, Elisha Robert Tutson, Jr., of Lake Charles, LA;  her children, Turhonda Tutson (Michael), Pepper LaCart (Lorenzo), William Tutson and one bonus son, Marcus Tutson Belizare all of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Lewis Walker of Golden Meadow, LA, Willie Ray Walker (Juanita) and Greta Walker both of Lake Charles, LA and Eric Walker (Christine) of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Talia Foney, Victoria Foney, Angel Foney, Trey Foney and Tristen Hilstock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Victoria Walker; three sisters, Brenda Cormier, Patricia Jones Franklin and Ada Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
