Obituary Crystal Strawder Baker, 50, departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at her residence in Lake Charles, La. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Freddie Baker; two sons, Frederick (Irma) Strawder and Dederick Strawder; one daughter, Jessica Strawder, all of Lake Charles, La., and two sisters, Sylvia Brown and Ivy (James) Anderson. Crystal will be fondly missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Strawder, one brother, David Strawder and one daughter, Sarah Strawder. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., at Mill Street Church of Christ followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at the church. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
