Curley Lee Boyd Fontenot , 60, departed this life on Friday, December 6, 2019, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born December 19, 1958, to Shirley and Louise Johnson Fontenot in Houston, TX.  He worked as an operator at Coca Cola Company until his retirement.  He loved singing and dancing and was an avid Miami Dolphin and LSU fan.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Eva Antoine Fontenot of Mesa, AZ; his children, Kevin Antoine of San Antonio, TX, Velveny Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Earl Vercher of Phoenix, AZ and Tonisha Fortune, whom he loved as his daughter; his siblings, Janice Boyd and Isaac Boyd, Jr., both of Lake Charles, LA; six grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Kailyn, Jazmin, Kaleb and Justin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Louise Fontenot and one granddaughter, Krystal Briscoe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Pastor Braylon Harris, officiating. Burial will follow in Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, LA, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
