Mrs. Cynthia Diane Feast was born on February 8, 1959 to the late Willie E. Carter, Sr. and Mrs. Josephine Louise Landry Grant Carter. She married the late Vernon David Feast, Sr. and to that union was born one son Vernon David Feast Jr. and one daughter Tashawna Nicole Feast. Many years later her baby girl, Jodi Michelle Lewis was born.
Cynthia Feast was a member of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church and she happily served wherever she was needed. She especially loved working with children. That love and service also applied to her daily life where she freely supported friends and loved ones with their children.
On July 6, 2008 at 3:00 pm in a local Lake Charles hospital, Cynthia was welcomed into the arms of her savior.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Vernon David Feast, Sr.; parents, Willie and Josephine Carter; three siblings: Sister Remelda Ann Jumper, brothers Joseph Antoine Carter, and Willie E. Carter, Jr. She now leaves behind to carry on her spirit and legacy of love her three children, Vernon David Feast Jr., Jodi Michelle Lewis (father Joe Lewis), both of Lake Charles, LA and Tashawna Nicole Feast of Hammond, LA; one grand-daughter, De'Ja Cymone Feast, of Lake Charles, LA; a long-time companion, Clyde Watson, Sr. of Lake Charles; two sisters Donna Dixson (Jessie III) of Iowa, LA and Renee Denise Whitfield of Houston, TX; three brothers: Theodore "Terry" Otis Grant of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Tracy Lee Carter, and Willie E. Hall (Tanya) both of Lake Charles, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
