On Monday, the 4th day of October, 2021, Darrell Dontrell Fort departed this life at the age of 39 surrounded by family. He was born on January 14, 1982 to the late Rose Marie Fort in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Darrell worked as a self-employed automobile mechanic.

He leaves to cherish his memories his brother and three sisters: Contrell Fort of Lake Charles, Zihkeha Fort-Green (Isaiah Sr.) of Pearland, TX, Niluha Fort-Hargrow of Lake Charles, and Amariha Fort-Peeples (Dion Sr.). He also leaves his loving nieces Zirelle Green and Calena Mouton and awesome nephews Rashund Hargrow, Jr., Isaiah Green Jr., and Dion Peeples, Jr.

Darrell was preceded in death by his mother Rose Marie Fort, and his grandparents Richard and Lucille Fort.

Cremation services has been entrusted to King's Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later day.
