Darryl Douglas Harrison, Jr., 42, gained his wings on May 10, 2025, in Pearland, Texas, surrounded by his family. Darryl was born on August 22, 1982, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Marie Chenier and the late Darryl Douglas Harrison, Sr. Darryl's departure to his eternal home in Heaven left sadness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He was affectionately known as "Truck" to his family and friends. He was a 2001 graduate of Madison High School in Houston, Texas. Darryl was self-employed and took great pride in detailing vehicles. He loved his interaction with people and the pure joy it brought him. His kind heart and loving smile will forever remain in the lives he touched.

Darryl was preceded in death by his father, Darryl Douglas Harrison, Sr, both sets of grandparents from the Harrison and Chenier families, aunts Ann Harrison, Brigette Dupas, Sandra Harrison, and Mary Shawnette Chenier.

Darryl leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother Marie Chenier (Wayne Eggins); daughter, LaShay Nash; brother, Matthew (Lonnesia) Harrison; nieces M'Liyah Victorian, Skyler Harrison, and Bella Harrison; nephew, Jaylin Harrison; uncles, Benjamin (Ann) Chenier, Jude (Genet) Chenier, Roger Dupas, and Gary Harrison; aunt Victoria Pierre; his special caregivers as well as many cousins and friends.

A celebration of Darryl's life will be held on Saturday, May 31, beginning at 1:00pm with a Visitation for family and friends, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm, all in the King's Funeral Home Chapel located at 1611 Gerstner Memorial Drive.
