Darryl Wilton Breaux Rious, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Darryl was born October 4, 1950, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Butler Patrick and Annie Mae Breaux Rious and his sister, DeAndrea Anne Rious.

Darryl graduated from Washington High School in 1969, and shortly after he journeyed to Michigan where he continued the growth of the Rious family through union with Maragerethe Rious whereby creating his four children, Kristopher Micheal Rious, Ursula Christina Rious-McGhee, DeShon Andre Rious, Brandon Elijah RIous along with sixteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Darryl will be remembered for his caring spirit, which provided love and support for a multitude of people, especially children. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Charles and Holy Family Church in Michigan. Darryl was a spiritual man who taught his family to allow the Lord to guide them. He was strong spoken, took great pride in his appearance, and loved to sing. Darryl was an amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, mentor, and role model. He was a blessing to anyone who was graced with his presence and will be missed by many.

Darryl leaves a host of family to celebrate and cherish his life, Kristopher Rious (AnnaJe), Bryan and Ursula Rious-McGhee (Jamie, Jordan, and Jacob), DeShon Andre Rious (Dominic, Devin, Daniel, Donte, Sadie, Annabelle, and great grandchild, Dixie), Brandon Elijah Rious (Alexander, Iyania, Brianna, Nautica, and Jayden).  His brothers, Dwight, Delbert (Helen), Darcy, Damon (Jill), Darrin Felecia), will also forever cherish his life, in addition to Brianna, Nautica, Terrence, and Mannuel with whom Darryl raised.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home  and funeral service on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 12:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
