David Keith Sterling AKA "Chicken" David Sterling departed this life on April 6, 2014 in Jennings, La at the age of 37. He was born unto Lucinda Sterling and Gerald Sterling on August 14, 1976 in Lake Charles, LA. He attended St. Margaret's Elementary, Oak Park Middle, Lagrange High School, McNeese State University and Sowela Technical College. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Davis Sterling Sr., and his paternal grandmother; Lena Delafosse Johnson; maternal grandfather Otis Hall Sr., and maternal grandmother, Corinna Ceaser Hall. He leaves to mourn his death, his parents, Gerald W. and Lucinda Sterling; His brothers: Kenneth (Kristin) Sterling; Gerald Sterling Jr; nieces Kaelin and McKensie Sterling; his very special love in his life, Jennifer Pierce and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Keith will be missed by every one that was touched by his loving and generous heart. He was a man with a smile that could brighten any day. If you met him and spent time around him, he was someone you had to like. Throughout his life he never complained even in illness. Our son was a gift from God and to God we released our gift to him.
