Deborah Renee Jones , 59, departed this life on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born January 13, 1963 to Clarence Willington Jones and Shirley Mae Drake Jones in Lake Charles, LA.  She was an educator for 29 years with the Calcasieu Parish School Board until her retirement.  She was a  member of Warren United Methodist Church and Breath of Life Church where she was a communion stewardess and a Sunday school teacher.  She liked working with children and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Christopher R. Jones and sister-in-law, Mildred L. Holmes-Jones of Lake Charles, LA; one nephew, Justin Jones of Dallas, TX and one niece, Jandalyn Jones of Houston, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence W. Jones and Shirley M. Jones.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., and funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Warren United Methodist Church.  Entombment will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
