Dennis Latour, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Dennis, a long-time resident of Sacramento, California, was born in Basile, Louisiana. He was the oldest child of Ewell Latour and Ida Gradney Latour. His family moved to Lake Charles when he was a very young man. He worked for Firestone and then joined the United States Army. He returned to Lake Charles February 6, 2014. Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his wife, Norma Jean Latour, parents, brother, Wilbert Latour, and sister, Mary Della St. Mary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 16, 2015, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m., Father Wayne Lebleu officiating. Visitation begins Sunday, February 15, 2015, at 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at King's Funeral Home, Rosary at 5:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
