Diane Malbrew peacefully passed away at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the age of 59, where she was a dedicated employee of the hospital for more than 30 years. She was born on June 29, 1954 to Moses and Rosa Mae Malbrew in Lake Charles, La. She was a devoted member of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority Chapter of Lake Charles. She is survived by her daughter. Brandi Alysia Malbrew; her father, Moses Malbrew both of Lake Charles, LA. A cherished Nanny to Moses Lawson, three sisters; Mary Sherrod of Lantana, TX ; Veronica and Patricia Malbrew of Lake Charles, La., two brothers; Moses Wayne Malbrew of Lake Charles, La., and Curtis Rougeau of Hot Springs, AR; one niece and three nephews and a host of cousins and godchildren. She was a devoted and loving mother to her only child Brandi Alysia and was a guardian to Moses Lawson both of Lake Charles, La. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Mae Malveaux Malbrew.
