Donna Michelle Criner-John , 58, departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2025, at a local hospital in Houston, TX.  She was born August 7, 1966, to Donald Tyrone Criner, Sr., and Frances Marion Criner in Muskogee, OK.  She worked at Save The Children Headstart for many years.  She loved supporting her children, spending time with family, taking trips and watching sporting events.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Tatiara Criner of Lake Charles, LA, JaDonta Blakley of Houston, TX  and Dillan John ((London Key) of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Toby Webb and Laquinta Webb both of Tulsa, OK and Ricci Boulware of San Diego, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Criner, Sr., and Frances Criner; her husband, Shelvin John; father-in-law, Herbert John; mother-in-law, Margaret Harmon; three brothers, Johnathan Webb, Wyly Webb and Donald Criner, Jr., and one sister, Jocylen Webb.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Christian Baptist Church, 202 N. Franklin Street.  Burial will follow in Orange Grove and Graceland Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
