Doretta "Dee" Elizabeth Robert, 70, was born January 4, 1954, to Lelia Lee Brouchet in New Orleans, LA.  God sent his angels to bring Doretta home to eternal rest on October 30, 2024.  A resident of Lake Charles, LA for 55 years, she was a nurse's assistant, school cafeteria cook, Walmart associate and beautician.  She loved spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Stanley Gene Robert of Lake Charles, LA; Gabriel James Robert of Lancaster, CA; daughter-in-law, Treva Robert; five sisters, Gilda Brouchet, Verna Brouchet-Gerard (Nelson) and Janice Brouchet all of Beaumont, TX, Myra Brouchet of Lake Charles, LA and Mona Smith (David) of Houston, TX; four brothers, David Brouchet of North Carolina, Fredrick Brouchet of Lake Charles, LA, Patrick Brouchet (Kim) and Therman Brouchet (Ella) all of Beaumont, TX; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one godson, Steven Galmore of Arlington, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lelia Brouchet; one son, Kenneth Robert and one grandson, Aaron James Robert.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
