Obituary
Adam "Dup" Labove, Jr.,
departed this life in Lake Charles, LA on May 12, 2015, at 9:45 p.m., at the age of 46. In 2008, Mayor Ron Leleaux, City of Sulphur, proclaimed Adam LaBove Day to be March 10th for his heroic actions without hesitation in saving a drowning woman's life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dupreville LaBove, Sr., and Rosa Mae LaBove; three brothers, Gerald Fontenot, Brian LaBove and Tommy LaBove all of Sulphur, LA.
He is survived by Sherrell "Sherrie" LaBove, his loving wife of 22 years of Sulphur, LA; three sisters, Angelina Perrodin of Hackberry, LA, Tootsie Holden of Sneedville, TN, and Eunice Shores of Sulphur, LA. He is lovingly remembered by many close relatives and friends.
The memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Sulphur, LA at 1403 W. Napoleon Street on Sunday, May 24, 2015, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Flowers may be delivered to 603 Kim Street, Sulphur, LA by May 23, 2015. Memorial donations may be made to Sherrell LaBove.
